David Myers and Si King, BBC television’s famous Hairy Bikers paid a visit to Huntly on Friday the 11th of July during filming for their new TV series. Becoming ‘Hairy Bakers’ for the day the duo focused on Huntly’s contribution to the UK’s tradition for savoury baking. First port of call was J & I Smith’s bakery on Gordon Street where three generations the Smith family showed them how their legendary Scotch and macaroni pies are made.
