175th Anniversary of The Gordon Schools
Why are we celebrating this event?
- Celebrate a major milestone
- Showcase the talent we have in Huntly (many of which will be pupils, former pupils and future pupils)
- Demonstrate the town can work as one team (school, business, voluntary and community groups)
- To support Huntly’s status as a Creative Place
Porposed Activities / Events:
- Photography Competition
- Art Competition
- Revamp of the School Song
- School Photograph (made up of all pupils and teachers)
- Parade around Huntly celebrating the past and future by using the cultural, educational, historical, natural and built environment in and around Huntly as a backdrop to key historical moments over the last 175 years.
- Formal Dinner
- 175 Anniversary Book
