Art in a Shoe Shop is aimed a giving people with little or no artistic background the chance to learn the basics of art. From this in time, they can develop their own individual creative styles.
We begin with pencil drawings and line work, progressing through water colour pencils, water colour and acrylic paints, pastels and oils and experiment with the variety of techniques each medium offers. We consider subjects such as cartoon style drawing, the colour wheel, landscapes, plants, animals, perspective and abstracts.
My aim is to help people see life in a different light. To enable them to look at life around them with a renewed vision and give them the inspiration to take an artistic adventure into the unknown and see where it leads them.
