Huntly Writers have established a small executive group to progress a feasibility study for a bookshop in Huntly. It has drawn up a brief for whoever is selected to conduct the study and also a set of guidelines for selection of such a person. Support and supervisory measures have also been drawn up with individuals identified as responsible for overseeing the project regarding content, quality and deadlines for completion.
At the moment we are involved in selection procedures and are in discussions with likely people. We aim to have the study completed by the end of August at the moment but, depending on circumstances, there may be some variation on this date.
